§ 74-020. PURPOSES

The Welfare Advisory Committee shall review all welfare programs and the administration of these programs and make recommendations thereon to the Board of Supervisors of Sutter County, with particular attention to the following areas.
(a)

Advice and information to the public of the aims and purposes of welfare legislation, and the problems of the Welfare Department in administering Welfare programs.

(b)

Recommendations to the California Legislature and the Congress of the United States with respect to necessary welfare legislature.

(c)

Steps which can be taken locally to promote assistance to those who are entitled to it, and to deny aid to those who are not entitled to it.
