§ 1701-090. EQUIPMENT OR SYSTEM INSTALLED ON PRIVATE PROPERTY

  • (a)

    All equipment, systems, structures or facilities installed by the County on private property shall remain the property of the County who shall be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and/or replacement thereof.

    (b)

    The customer shall use reasonable care to protect the equipment, systems, structures or facilities from harm and shall not remove, alter, relocate, misuse, or otherwise damage the equipment, system, structure or facility. No seal placed upon a meter by County personnel shall be altered, broken or removed by anyone other than an authorized employee of the County or other governmental agency.

    (c)

    To the extent authorized by law, the County shall have free access to the property for the purpose of conducting inspections, performing maintenance, making repairs or replacing any of the equipment, systems, structures or facilities installed thereon. The customer shall not interfere with the County's free access thereto and shall immediately, upon demand by the County, remove any obstruction which unreasonably interferes with said access.

    (d)

    The customer shall be liable for any loss or damage to the equipment, systems, structures or facilities caused by the acts or omissions of the customer or any of their tenants, agents, employees, contractors, or licensees.
