§ 1701-050. RIGHT OF ENTRY

  • To the extent authorized by law, representatives from the County shall have the right of ingress and egress to a person's premises and structures at reasonable hours for any purpose reasonably connected with the provision and regulation of water resources and services. Such access may be for the purposes of conducting a periodic inspection of compliance with the provisions of this Title, or upon reasonable cause to believe a violation of this Title has occurred, or under the terms of any agreement between the owner of the premises and the County.

    The County shall obtain consent of the occupant of the structure or owner of the premises prior to entry. If such consent is not granted, a court order or warrant shall be obtained.
