§ 950-020. VIOLATIONS—PENALTY

  • When such road or highway is closed to the public as herein provided, any person who willfully, maliciously or negligently breaks down, removes, injures or destroys any such barrier or obstructions or tears down, removes or destroys any such notice, or extinguishes, removes, injures or destroys any such warning lights or lanterns, or travels or enters upon such road or highway, or portion thereof, so closed as herein provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Sutter, not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
