§ 800-116. DUPLICATE LICENSE TAG ISSUED

If any license tag is lost or stolen, the person owning, possessing or having control of the dog for which the license was issued shall be entitled to receive a duplicate of such tag by presenting to Animal Control Services the original certificate showing ownership of said tag and subscribing to an affidavit sufficiently showing that such tag was stolen or lost. Animal Control Services, upon receipt of the fee determined by resolution of the Board of Supervisors, shall issue a properly numbered duplicate tag and shall keep on file the original affidavit upon which said duplicate tag was issued.
