It is hereby made the duty of the county health officer and the special health officer
in the town for which he is appointed, before removing the quarantine from any house,
tenement or other place wherein any case of small-pox, cholera, yellow fever, scarlet
fever, or any other contagious or infectious disease has existed to thoroughly fumigate,
disinfect, or destroy such house, tenement or other place and its contents or cause
the same to be done.
