§ 720-010. COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER—DUTIES

  • The County Health Officer of the County of Sutter, State of California, and any special health officer appointed for any town in said county are hereby authorized and empowered—the County Health Officer in any and all parts of the county and the special health officer in the town for which he is appointed—to remove or cause to be removed any person or persons affected with small-pox, cholera, yellow fever, scarlet fever, or any other contagious or infectious disease to the proper hospital or pest-house provided for such cases; and it is hereby made the duty of the county health officer and the special health officer of the town for which he is appointed to thoroughly fumigate and disinfect or cause to be fumigated and disinfected any house, tenement, or other place from which any person or persons affected with any contagious or infectious disease have been removed.
