§ 410-210. COMPLIANCE WITH OTHER LAWS

  • As used in this Chapter, "permitted," "approved," "allowed," and similar terms shall mean only that the use or activity does not violate the Sutter County Ordinance Code. No provision of this Chapter, nor any document issued hereunder, shall be construed to authorize, legalize, allow, approve, or condone any activity that violates any provision of State or Federal law or this Code. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to allow the use of marijuana for non-medical purposes, or allow any activity relating to the cultivation, distribution, or consumption of marijuana that is otherwise illegal under State or Federal law. No provision of this Chapter shall be deemed a defense or immunity to any action brought against any person by the Sutter County District Attorney, the Attorney General of the State of California, or the United States of America.
