§ 315-060. HOURS OF WORK

The hours of work per day for prisoners shall be designated by the Sheriff.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, the Sheriff may require that any person committed to county jail for a period of six days or less perform ten hours of labor on the public works or ways in lieu of one day of confinement pursuant to Penal Code Section 4024.2. This subparagraph shall be of no effect after December 31, 1984.
