§ 230-030. TO KEEP RECORD OF PURCHASES

  • Every person, firm or corporation engaged in carrying on the business of pawnbroker shall keep at his place of business a record book in which, at the time of the purchase thereof, shall be entered in the English language by such person or persons carrying on such business, a description sufficient for identification of all property so purchased, the price paid therefore by such person carrying on such business, and the signature of the person selling the same. Every pawnbroker shall furnish a full and complete description of the person or persons selling the same; said description to be written in the English language on a form furnished by the County of Sutter.
