The issuance of a permit hereunder shall not be construed as imposing any liability
upon the County or upon any of its officers, employees, or agents by reason of damage
or injury to persons or property resulting from any activity, repair, improvement,
excavation or obstruction authorized by the permit. Neither issuance of Grading and
Erosion Control Permit under the provisions of this Chapter nor compliance with any
conditions or requirements imposed by the permit issued hereunder shall relieve any
person from responsibility for damage to any person or property.
