§ 1525-020. PURPOSE

The purpose of this chapter is to supplement the provisions of the Mobile Homes-Manufactured Housing Act of 1980 (Health and Safety Code section 18000 et seq.), the Employee Housing Act (Health and Safety Code section 17000 et seq.), the Mobile Home Parks Act (Title 25, California Code of Regulations, section 1000 et seq.) and Title 25, California Code of Regulations, section 3000 et seq. relating to Factory-Built Housing and Mobile Homes and its enforcement by the State Department of Housing and Community Development by regulations on the use and occupancy of mobile homes and the construction of all accessory structures, electrical services and installations, sanitary facilities, fuel gas systems, and water piping pertaining thereto in order to protect the health and safety of the occupants and their neighbors. The provisions of this chapter applicable to mobile homes shall apply equally to camp cars, travel trailers, and trailer coaches.
