§ 1510-020. Board of Supervisors Action

(a)

Upon the receipt of the report of the Planning Commission for approval of a general plan amendment or appeal of a denial, the Board of Supervisors shall conduct an advertised public hearing.

(b)

At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Board of Supervisors may adopt, modify, or disapprove the proposed general plan amendment. All amendments shall be adopted by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.

(c)

Any substantial modification to the Planning Commission's recommendation by the Board of Supervisors which was not previously considered by the Planning Commission shall be referred back to the Commission for consideration and recommendation prior to the adoption by the Board of Supervisors.
