§ 1350-060. APPLICABILITY TO BUILDINGS SUBJECT TO THE STATE HOUSING LAW

  • The provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to any building subject to the State Housing Law (Health and Safety Code Sections 17910 et seq.) and its implementing regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Sections 1 et seq.), provided that such building (i) is a substandard building as defined in Health and Safety Code Section 17920.3 or is a building described in Health and Safety Code Section 17920.10, and (ii) is determined by the building official to be a nuisance as defined in Health and Safety Code Section 17920. Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Section 52, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sutter hereby determines that the procedures set forth in this Chapter are equivalent to the procedures set forth in California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Sections 48 et seq. for the purpose of abating dangerous buildings that are subject to the State Housing Law. This Chapter shall supplement, but shall not limit or restrict, the provisions of the Sutter County Housing Code set forth in Section 1300-060.
