§ 1100-010. MAXIMUM AND PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS

The maximum speed limit upon a County Road is 65 or 55 miles per hour as specified by California Vehicle Code Section 22349 whether or not speed limit signs have been posted. Unless otherwise changed as authorized by the Board of Supervisors, the prima facie speed limit is 25 miles per hour on County Highways in school zones, and residential and business districts, as described in California Vehicle Code Section 22352, whether or not speed limit signs have been posted.
